In Kind Boxes is a female founded, and volunteer run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based near Portland, Oregon.
Our goal is to support families on their postpartum journey. We care to help reduce inequalities and work to promote good health and well being. We do this by providing families with gift boxes filled with natural and organic essentials.
Our postpartum box is carefully curated for both mom and baby because moms deserve to feel special too. For every gift box sold, we donate one to a family in need. We believe that every mom deserves quality postpartum care.

Founder, Maria Berglund, started In Kind because of her frustration with the lack of postpartum support moms receive in the United States.
Giving back is especially important for Maria, because she was raised by a single mother in need. She grew up understanding the value of community support, and has made it her mission to pay that kindness forward through In Kind Boxes.
Together we are changing lives! We couldn’t do what we do without you.
Our Work
We have helped more than 1,200 families in need since November 2019, when our first postpartum boxes became available.
On January 1, 2021 we expanded our gift box donation program beyond Oregon, to support families in need across the United states.

Our Portland Metro area partners are amazing organizations that provide support through services such as healthcare, education, emotional and mental health support, clothing, supplies, emergency shelters, and much more. We donate our gift boxes to our partners, to be distributed to mamas as needed.
