Shipping:
US orders
- Shipped via USPS Priority Mail within 8-12 business days of purchase (excluding holidays).
- Tracking information is emailed to you once your order has shipped.
- Shipping takes 2-3 business days.
Canadian orders are currently *ON HOLD* (shipped through FedEx).
- Gifts are subject to taxes and customs fees.
- We have incorporated those fees into shipping costs so recipients won’t have to pay fees on arrival of their gift.
- You will be notified of your FedEx tracking number via email once your package has shipped.

- A donation of $55 provides a gift box for a family in need.
- Fred Meyer Rewards– Community Giving Program recipient. You can now support In Kind Boxes when you shop at Fred Meyer. Simply log into your rewards account, and choose In Kind Boxes as your Community Giving rewards recipient.
- Corporate sponsorship is now available.
- We are currently looking for donations to help fund our gift boxes donated Portland area organizations, as well as our Nationwide Gift Box Donation Program.

Why did we start In Kind?
After having her second and third babies in the US, our Founder Maria Berglund saw the unfortunate lack of support moms receive during postpartum. On top of that, she was raised by a single mom in need. Maria understands the value of community support, and is dedicated to paying the kindness forward that she received growing up. Maria started In Kind Boxes to show moms that they matter, and that they’re not alone.
Our gift boxes are filled with natural and organic essentials for both mama and baby. At In Kind we believe that every mom deserves quality postpartum care. We are here to be your village of support because motherhood isn’t meant to be done alone.

When did we start?
We were officially founded on July 11, 2019. Our first gift boxes were available in November 2019.
What’s in the box?
Our gift boxes are filled with several high quality essential items that we purchase. It is important for us to maintain quality and consistency of items. Every gift box, whether purchased or donated contains the same natural and organic products because we believe everyone deserves quality postpartum care.
How does it work?
When someone purchases a gift box, we donate a box to a family in need.
We have partnered with amazing organizations both in Oregon and across the United States who are already providing prenatal and postpartum services to families in need. We donate gift boxes to our nonprofit partners, who then distribute the boxes to mamas/birthing parents as needed.
We also have an open application for people to apply or nominate someone who could use our support.
